My goal is to provide clients with the highest quality evidence-based therapy, meaning I utilize techniques that research found to be the most effective at treating the problems my clients are facing. I primarily work with children, adolescents, emerging adults, and their families to provide the support and skills they need to improve their lives at home, in school, and at work. I also provide school consultation services. I want each of my clients to learn skills to improve their lives and go out and use them. Recognizing I may be many clients' first experience with therapy, I want everyone to have a positive experience, so, if they need support in the future, they are open to receiving it.

I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). I also received training and supervision to provide Exposure and Response prevention (ERP), ADHD Parent Training, Organizational Skills Training, and the Incredible Years Parent Training Program.

The decision to go to therapy can be a scary one, and you may have had poor experiences in therapy in the past. My goals are that you feel welcomed and accepted right away and that I can instill hope that things can get better.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two boys, and our cavaliers. I love attending sporting events, live music, and trying new restaurants! I've been fortunate to live a lot of places and love going back to visit old friends. If I could be anywhere, I would always choose the beach!
